Medical Support Services provides comprehensive therapeutic services for infants 
and young children who, because of pre-maturity, trauma at birth, congenital anomalies, toxic influence or for other reasons are delayed in normal development.
The child is evaluated to determine the type and severity of the problem and to select the most appropriate intervention program.
Evaluations examine issues relating to gross motor and fine motor development, speech and language skill, pre-speech and feeding issues, cognitive development and behavioral issues.
Following evaluation, the team meets with the parents to discuss findings and develop a plan of care, which is submitted to the child’s physician. The plan of care can include direct therapy, parent teaching, home program, consultation and coordination with the child’s education.
Medical Support Services is proud of its reputation for a highly trained and qualified staff. We employ only licensed or certified therapists with experience in pediatrics or advanced training in such areas as sensory integration therapy, neurodevelopmental treatment, auditory training or computer assisted therapy.
